Journey in Duronto Express

After a decade, I have traveled alone a long distance of around 2020 kms in the train. Unknowingly but luckily, I have reserved the seat in Duronto Express. I was my first journey in this category of Indian Railway's train. I am very much amazed with the speed of the train, it turned out to be faster than Rajdhani Express. It has very few stoppages in-between and all of these were only technical stoppages. It took around 33 hours to reach the destination.

To add to further positive surprise, I found the hospitality services very good - staff were polite, served timely and reasonable quality food.
