Are we living in a matrix? Is the universe computable? Computable, very much like the virtual universe of a video game with a realistic 3D simulation which is encoded as a program in computer.

In recent time, many researchers of Artificial Intelligence believe that the universe is deterministic and can be programmed. They are trying to formalize computer science concepts to find the mathematical answers to the old questions of philosophy and theology. One of such researcher Jürgen Schmidhuber, Director of the Swiss Artificial Intelligence Lab IDSIA, has come up with fastest and optimal way of computing the universe, refer code below (check out the complete research paper here):
