Stockdale Paradox - पिक्चर अभी बाकी है मेरे दोस्त...

In a business book by James C. Collins called Good to Great, Collins describes that "You must retain faith that you can prevail to greatness in the end, while retaining the discipline to confront the brutal facts of your current reality, whatever it might be". 

This finding is named after Admiral James Stockdale, winner of the Medal of Honor, who survived seven years in a Vietnam POW camp by hanging on to two contradictory beliefs: his life couldn't be worse at the moment, and his life would someday be better than ever. 

Witnessing this philosophy of duality, Collins described this as the "Stockdale Paradox".

Those who like Bollywood movie, might remember the dialogue from Om Shanti Om movie articulating the Law of attraction and Stockdale Paradox...
